The Dictatorship of the Dumbest

Throughout human history people have suffered under dictatorships of one form or another. Although most humans understand that dictatorships can be bad news, the most devastating of all dictatorships continues to function with complete impunity today, yet few people in these modern or post-modern times are even aware of it. When we view man’s world from the structure-based viewpoint taught in Correctionism, this most devastating of all dictatorships is none other than the dictatorship of the dumbest because even the most modern society or civilization is only as good as its dumbest citizens. For thousands of years and counting, it has been customary in some of the leading human societies, to ensure that the majority of the people are also the dumbest people by design. The dumbest in this context refers to those people who’re not only pawns or prisoners of their beliefs, but who also think their beliefs can’t be wrong! This problem is especially prevalent in modern or post-modern societies where the abuse of modern technologies like radio, motion pictures, TV, mass and social media have reduced the multitude to consumers and other brainwashed, aberrations of humanity, completely blinded by the most influential and cherished beliefs of the day, unable or unwilling to question things.

In the typical modern society, people tend to act as a human herd, blindly following the crowd which isn’t a problem if what the crowd is doing is right or beneficial to all. However, when the crowd is doing something wrong, as is often the case today, this can easily place entire nations or societies on the wrong track, which invariably dooms such societies to all the horrors associated with the dictatorship of the dumbest, which includes Massive Human Error (MHE). In Correctionism this is defined as—the cumulative effects of great mistakes and crimes committed by large numbers of people over long periods of time.

Most people fail to realize the devastating effects that can occur when the vast majority of a society is wrong yet doesn’t realize it. Whenever such a condition exists, evil is sure to win and good is sure to lose because the forces of evil never play fair and respect no boundaries; so if the good people of this world are to have any chance against them, they must question everything regardless of the source. Today, this is a vital responsibility that we neglect at great peril; any so-called “advanced” society can be easily diverted from its natural course to criminal ends by powerful special interests, adept at deceiving and manipulating the masses. This is easily achieved today via the abuse of the latest behavioral science and powerful brainwashing technologies such as TV, mass and social media. This gives rise to the dictatorship of the dumbest because the human species is often too evil or too ignorant for its own good.

Our Minds have Important Weaknesses

Largely because of key vulnerabilities of the human mind, we humans are both easy to deceive and quick to deceive ourselves. We may well be endowed with immense capabilities as a species and prefer to see ourselves in a glorious light, yet we often completely overlook the brutal reality that our minds have important weaknesses that will surely be our downfall in this particular day and age. The most important of man’s core weaknesses are his fallibility and the lack of an inherent bond to either truth or goodness. These weaknesses aggravate another important human weakness—we can be hypnotized, which means we can be completely put to sleep while wide awake and in this state we can be made to believe just about anything no matter how false or absurd it may be! This makes it quite easy for humans to be kept completely in the dark about what’s truly going on in their cultures or societies.

Institutions as Instruments of Evil

Since man’s ignorance is also the greatest enabler of human evil, we can’t be truly good as humans unless we’re also truly wise. The two go hand in hand just as evil and ignorance go hand in hand. Therefore in Correctionism, living in ignorance is not only one of man’s six principal vices but it also can have the same effect as being evil because the ignorant, in any society of humans, are always a ready instrument of evil, whether they realize this or not. This is the great danger of the Dictatorship of the Dumbest because when the vast majority of a society is wrong yet doesn’t realize it, they become a powerful force for evil without even being aware of it. Many of these people, in their ignorance, actually believe they’re doing right. Although, respected institutions like religion and science offer easy ways out of this dilemma for mortal man, being religious has never proven to be an effective remedy for human evil and ignorance because throughout known history religion has been used to justify some of man’s greatest mistakes and crimes. Likewise being scientific has also failed as a remedy for human evil and ignorance because since its inception, a few centuries ago up to today, modern science has also been used to justify even greater mistakes and crimes than those perpetrated in the name of religion. We must never forget that all human institutions are subject to corruption and moral decay over time so they can be used as instruments of evil. This includes both religion and science, so nothing is higher than the Truth.

Quality in Our Beliefs

Therefore, the name of the game for humans is always quality in both our beliefs and our behavior. Quality in our beliefs pertains to whether they’re true or false while quality in our behavior pertains to whether what we’re doing, at any given time, is right or wrong. If our most influential beliefs are false, as they often are, then we can be dead wrong in our behavior yet never even realize it. By the same token, erroneous, popular beliefs can also make us evil without our knowledge due to their teachings and effects. When we factor in the brutal reality that the dumbest can be found in all social classes, we’re not just talking about the poor and uneducated; we’re also talking about the rich and educated as well. The dumbest are therefore those people in all social classes who, for whatever reason, end up as pawns, unwitting dupes or willing instruments of evil. For this important reason, we must ever question our beliefs, regardless of the source, rather than blindly adhere to them. Knowing when we’re wrong and correcting ourselves before it’s too late, is the only way for us humans to stay on the right track on earth or to return to it when we’ve badly lost our way. In a world ruled by evil and ignorance, such as that we live in today, the most popular and influential beliefs will always be those favored by the devil, which is just another name for the cunning of human evil and the obstinacy of human ignorance.

When we consider that erroneous, popular beliefs often become the basis of man’s earthly existence, today vast numbers of people live their entire lives in the most abject ignorance yet don’t have the slightest inkling that much of what they believe is wrong. The dictatorship of the dumbest is now playing a pivotal role in pulling mankind further and further down the road to a digital dark age. Mankind has never been as wrong or as misguided as it is today.

Massive Human Error (MHE)

In Correctionism, we learn of Massive Human Error (MHE) which we previously defined as:

The cumulative effects of great mistakes and crimes committed by large numbers of people over long periods of time.

MHE is bound to be present wherever the dictatorship of the dumbest holds sway.

 Major symptoms of MHE are:

  1. Evil and ignorance dominate all areas of human life yet most people think this is normal.
  2. The vast majority of people know more about God than they do about themselves as humans.
  3. Organized religion has made itself more important than God while mainstream science has made itself more important than man.
  4. Fake news and fake history are the norm so the vast majority has been thoroughly deceived by their most influential and cherished beliefs and thereby sent far off on the wrong track yet don’t even realize it.

If the foregoing sounds a lot like the most “advanced” societies of today, it’s safe to say that the dictatorship of the dumbest is alive and well in these societies, and not surprisingly, subjecting them to the many agonies of Massive Human Error (MHE). If this state of affairs is left unchecked, it will eventually lead to the ruin of human life itself.

Civilization based on Behavior

In Correctionism we learn, that civilization among humans is either true or false based largely upon actual behavior and not on the level of military prowess, art, science or technology. These celebrated creations of man are highly overrated because they can ultimately be weaponized and used against us. This is an ever-present danger for mankind which occurs primarily because the more man learns, the greater his capacity for wrongdoing. Furthermore, human civilizations or societies are always first and foremost about the human condition which is always more important than any mere human artifact or creation. Today, man is nothing more than a caged hamster treading a wheel if he doesn’t have sufficient levels of responsibility, morality and good sense. Unfortunately, these critical virtues are increasingly in short supply today so the vast majority of people have things completely wrong yet don’t even realize it. This means that they routinely mistake evil for good and good for evil. They also routinely mistake ignorance for wisdom and wisdom for ignorance. Under such dismal conditions, the dictatorship of the dumbest continues to move us all further and further down the path to the next dark-age. Lest we forget—this is occurring today because as a species, we failed to learn the lessons of the last dark age. Hegemonic religion brought on the last dark age just as hegemonic science is bringing on the next.

This is a brutal reality of the current era for it is indeed the culmination of the “Great Decline of Civilization.” Correctionism teaches that this is a downward spiral for mankind that has also defined the last roughly 6000 years of human history and counting. During this lengthy period man’s world has been largely shaped by various forms of warfare and slavery, so it’s wrong to consider the foregoing timeframe as any kind of advancement for our species. What’s really happened during the aforementioned period is that the forces of evil have become far more clever and sophisticated than the forces of good; this spread the dictatorship of the dumbest around the world while the earth was converted into a massive crime scene. Few men realize that in this world, everything depends upon how wise or foolish we are at any given time, so the most important thing is realizing when we’re wrong and correcting ourselves before it’s too late!

Evil Rules where Ignorance Thrives

Unfortunately for those of us living today, if what humanity has been doing for the last roughly two thousand years alone was so great, then neither the world nor mankind would be as bad off as they are today. The vast majority in today’s most “advanced” societies are not only badly deceived but also don’t even realize it; in their ignorance, many actually see what’s now happening as the height of human achievement, when nothing could be further from the Truth. A great question confronting mankind today is the rise of Artificial Intelligence, or AI, but few realize the true significance of this. For example, AI is supposed to largely replace humans, however, humans would have had to become extremely ignorant and foolish for such a catastrophe to even be seen as progress or even a good thing! While the foregoing is indeed true, it also indicates that the dictatorship of the dumbest is in full effect today. Evil can only rule in those societies or civilizations where the people are truly ignorant and vice versa.

History Repeats Its Self

In the last dark age which was driven by hegemonic religion, those who truly thought for themselves and questioned things were called “heretics” and the dumbest cheered as these so-called heretics were persecuted and slaughtered. In the coming dark age, which is now being driven by hegemonic science, those who truly think for themselves and question things are now called “conspiracy theorists” and the dumbest are again calling for their persecution and even slaughter. The more things change, the more they remain the same. The great lesson of the last dark age, which few people today appear to have learned is that—Those unable or unwilling to truly think for themselves, or realize when they’ve been deceived, don’t stand much of a chance against the devil.

As long as people mistakenly place their religious, scientific or political beliefs over the Truth, then the dictatorship of the dumbest will maintain its iron grip on the destiny of mankind, so our species will continue to fall rather than rise as the same massive mistakes and crimes are blindly repeated across historical epochs; the best thing that we can do in this current era of universal deceit and utter contempt for the Truth, is to first of all realize that not only can most of what we’ve been taught for thousands of years up to the present be wrong, by design, but also that among the worst things we can do as humans is to believe we can’t be wrong!
