In Correctionism, it’s very important that we have a sound understanding of the true nature of man because if we don’t, it will get us into all kinds of serious trouble on earth. In other words, the student of Correctionism knows that man’s earthly life is dominated by a perpetual struggle against his own evil and ignorance as a human being. We also learn in Correctionism that all human institutions are subject to corruption and moral decay over time so they can be used as instruments of evil; this includes both religion and science so nothing is higher than the Truth.
The Nature of Man
When it comes to the nature of man, Correctionism teaches us that man is essentially a creature of belief rather than reason, easily controlled by his beliefs. We also learned that whosoever controls man’s beliefs, controls mankind. Since the foregoing is indeed true, we humans must ever take care to defend our minds from any type of psychological manipulation because—If we don’t protect our minds from psychological manipulation, our own minds can and will be used against us. This important axiom in Correctionism means that due to inherent flaws of human nature such as our susceptibility to being hypnotized as well as our propensity for lying and hypocrisy we must be ever careful to avoid being deceived and manipulated on earth. In this light, the curse of perpetual childhood is an ever present danger for people in this current era of universal deceit and utter contempt for the Truth.
Perpetual Childhood
Perpetual childhood is the lot of most humans today because we’re constantly subjected to the most sophisticated propaganda and brainwashing the world has ever known. The mind of man often becomes mush under this relentless onslaught. Mainstream science and technology like organized religion before it, has been corrupted and weaponized to facilitate the brainwashing and enslavement of mankind. This is all made possible today because the parent-child relationship is among the most pivotal in human life; so how humans are raised by their cultures or societies is of the utmost importance in achieving true human adulthood. However, this pivotal relationship has also been corrupted with erroneous, popular beliefs today (such as parents should be friends of their children and corporeal punishment of children is a bad idea) to ensure that the typical human child today never reaches true adulthood. Instead, most children are led astray into a kind of perpetual childhood where they, like Peter Pan, never truly grow up. This is why such pitfalls as homosexuality and transgenderism are so popular among today’s Western youth in particular. Many of these children don’t stand a chance against the sophisticated brainwashing that has been weaponized and relentlessly used against them.
Pimp and Playerism
This same sophisticated brainwashing, in the form of Black American Street Culture, has also been weaponized and used against Black American men for many years. Many have succumbed to dubious agendas such as Pimp and Playerism, where these men have been indoctrinated to idolize pimps and players to the point that they pattern their behavior after them. These men commonly exhibit a pathological fear or aversion to marriage and family building within their own community which is one of the hallmarks of true human adulthood. Due to the strength of the propaganda and brainwashing directed against them, it’s not uncommon for many Black men to reach physical adulthood today while failing to reach mental or full adulthood. These men are in reality reduced to a state of perpetual childhood because they lacked proper protections and instruction while growing up.
From a Belief-based Worldview to a Structure-based Worldview
As the foundation of Post-Negroism, we often refer to the tenants of The Great Correction (TGC) in Post-Negro Studies. TGC teaches us to move from a belief-based worldview to a structure-based worldview. The structure in question is the actual structure of human life as established by nature and not some artificial, man-made alternative. Once we have this structure firmly in mind, we’re less likely to be led astray as humans and more likely to stay on the right track over the long haul. By the same token, we also often refer to the Culture of Redemption and Renewal CORAR in Post-Negro Studies which offers Ajiseism (Ah-jee-sheh-ism) as an authentic African American religion devoid of all Pagan and Monotheistic biases. One of the most important teachings in this religion, is that the earth is a testing ground for all earthly creatures including mankind. Therefore, we humans not only come into this world to be tested in various ways but we must also be ever prepared to pass our earthly tests, no matter how difficult they may be. Ajiseism, therefore, better prepares us to actually succeed in this world because our entire approach to life is more mature or accurate.
Earth as a Testing Ground
In other words, having a set structure for human life and viewing the earth as a testing ground means that the earth is no place to be joking around and that there is a right way and a wrong way to approach man’s life on earth; one of the most important things we learn in Ajiseism, is that man isn’t a free agent in this world, who can do whatever he pleases without concern. On the contrary, man is a creature with both vital responsibilities on earth which must be fulfilled and principal vices which he must avoid, at all costs, This knowledge better prepares us for success here on earth where we’re in constant danger of being deceived and manipulated and subject to all types of serious problems. Among the most important is the curse of perpetual childhood or never truly growing up.
